Production Manager

WireTech Fabricators Inc. is looking for an individual with experience in manufacturing management, excellent organizational and communication skills, and knowledge of mechanical and production equipment to join our team as a Production Manager!

STARTING PAY:

• $65,000 - $80,000, based on experience and/or education.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the production floor by clearly communicating expectations, monitoring productivity and quality, ensuring production is carried out appropriately, safely, and efficiently, and facilitating an environment of teamwork and cooperation.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as the Toolroom Manager to ensure customer needs are met for new parts, Human Resources for personnel concerns and hiring needs, and others as required.
• Perform frequent check-ins to review shop order paperwork, job notes, and to touch base with employees to ensure they understand requirements, understand procedures, and to provide coaching and feedback when needed.
• Lead weekly staff meetings that will include general business updates, monthly safety videos, quality procedure reminders, and other processes and updates.
• Resolve personnel issues with support from Human Resources, issuing corrective actions per policy when necessary.
• Possess and display excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills

EDUCATION

• High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
• Bachelor’s degree or applicable associate degree (PREFERRED)

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS and PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Two to five years of progressively more experience managing personnel.
• Basic computer skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and a knowledge of common production equipment.
• Able to work effectively at all levels of the WireTech Production floor as needed.
• Ability to read and comprehend documents such as labels, instructions, and safety rules.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout a 10-hour shift.
